Your plants thrive in a higher humidity environment. If you’re able to replicate a 60%-70% humidity environment for your plants, they will thank you. Although, you can acclimate your plants to lower humidity. It will take a bit of time and patience.
Your plants benefit from a grow light or bright indirect light from a window. Avoid direct sunlight, as your plants leaves will burn.
Do not immediately repot your plants upon arrival, as this can increase stress on your plant. Allow your new plant to acclimate to your environment a few weeks before transferring to your preferred potting mix.
Assess the plants substrate upon arrival. After traveling, your plant may need to be watered. If your substrate is still damp to the touch, check again in 24 hours. From here water your plants on your normal schedule.
